vegas paving hauler here at blue diamond and decatur. as of now northbound decatur traffic being diverted and the southbound left hand turn lane is also blocked by metro. east and west blue diamond is open just use caution traveling through the area. when i first moved here blue diamond had a unpleasant nick name of blood diamond. this stretch of rural road was a speed way for travelers coming and going to pahrump. now, mountains edge communities have grown and this area has been heavily developed with shopping centers, schools and neighborhoods. 42,000 vehicles a day travel blue diamond and we report, all to often deadly accidents and pedestrians killed crossing the road. last may crews broke ground on a $2.4 million dollar

(mos) i'm just going ok and i don't know if they were my daughter's classmates or if they were somebody i knew i don't know. just feel so bad. first responders and school officials say their active shooter training had prepared them.. and kept it from being worse. we don't yet know the shooter's motive. protests continue overnight in el cajon, california after a deadly police involved shooting in the city earlier this week. alfred olango -- a refugee from uganda -- was shot to death by police on tuesday. his family says he

mental illness... and police say he was unarmed, but pulled out an object -- possibly a vape smoking device -- and pointed it at officers. dozens demonstrated peacefully outside the police station.. as olango's family remembered him. williams says: "he always made us laugh. he was a family guy. he was a cool dude. for real." reverend shane harris of the civil rights group national action network says that the man's sister had call 9 report that her brother was acting out... but made it clear he had mental health issues. after a lot of tension between people and police around the country.. some folks want to see and hear what happens between officers and suspects.. and the metro police department is listening. "hopefully by the end of the year all uniformed police officers will have a body uniform camera." metro says about 900 officers are equipped with the cameras right now.. but more than a

follow breaking news in hoboken, new jersey. one person has died and more than 100 people have been injured.. many of them critically.. according to a spokeswoman from the new jersey transit authority. this station is just a few miles outside of new york city .. on the other side of the hudson river.. so many people use this line going to and from the city. some witnesses are saying the commuter train was going full sp crashed into the terminal ... and did not break.. however .. authorities are not confirming this. at this time ... there are no official reports of deaths ... but the investigation is just beginning and this, and other information will likey change throughout the morning. the crash caused at least one of the train cars to go up on the platform and smash into a wall ... it also caused part of the roof of the terminal to collapse. we're working to
